How to deploy Playbook on a land-based gaming floor: tables, slots, cage, host desk, and the venue around them.

> **Operator note**: The casino floor brings players and staff into the same space. Use both parts of that environment: print and signage provide consistent information, while trained staff can answer questions in plain language. Deploy the content and staff training together.

## The 30-second version

A casino deployment uses three layers. **Ambient**: signage and display loops that make game literacy visible throughout the venue. **At the point of play**: table tents and quick-reference cards placed where decisions occur. **In person**: floor staff, cage staff, and hosts who can explain how the games work without stigma. Together, the environment and the staff show that the casino is willing to explain the math.

## The player journey

The player journey: Moment, Where, What runs there

| Moment | Where | What runs there |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Arrival | Entrance, lobby screens | Brand-level literacy spots in the display loop ([digital display specs](<https://www.playbookrg.com/brand/content/collateral/>)) |
| Choosing a game | Floor signage, kiosk | [Odds at a glance](<https://www.playbookrg.com/brand/content/games/>) content: house edge by game, plain numbers |
| At the table | Table rail | [Table tents](<https://www.playbookrg.com/brand/content/collateral/>) with per-game facts; dealers fluent in the one-sentence versions |
| At the machine | Slot chair, service window | Slots myths content ([myth-busting](<https://www.playbookrg.com/brand/content/myths/>), Myths 1 to 6) on screens and cards |
| Player’s club desk | Enrollment conversation | [Quick-reference cards](<https://www.playbookrg.com/brand/content/games/>) as a welcome takeaway; host talking points |
| The pause | Restrooms, ATMs, corridors | [Helpline cards](<https://www.playbookrg.com/brand/content/collateral/>) and [rack cards](<https://www.playbookrg.com/brand/content/collateral/>) where a player has a quiet moment |
| Cash-out | Cage | Staff who treat tool questions (limits, breaks) as service, not alarm ([conversation scripts](<https://www.playbookrg.com/brand/content/collateral/>)) |

The placement rule: put literacy content where decisions happen and support content where players can pause. Keep the two tiers distinct. At a table, a helpline card can feel like a warning; in a quieter location, the same card can be easier to consider privately.

[Odds at a glance](<https://www.playbookrg.com/brand/content/games/>) compares the games in one chart and is a practical first piece for the casino floor.

### Campaigns

From [messaging/campaigns.md](<https://www.playbookrg.com/brand/content/campaigns/>), in the order that fits a floor calendar:

Campaigns: Campaign, Why it fits

| Campaign | Why it fits |
| --- | --- |
| [Slots Myths Week](<https://www.playbookrg.com/brand/content/campaigns/#campaign-1-slots-myths-week>) | Slots drive most floor play; Myths 1 to 6 are slots myths |
| [Beat the House? Table Game Truths](<https://www.playbookrg.com/brand/content/campaigns/#campaign-2-beat-the-house-table-game-truths>) | Table games with an audience that thinks in systems (Myths 7 to 10) |
| [Game IQ Challenge](<https://www.playbookrg.com/brand/content/campaigns/#campaign-6-game-iq-challenge>) | Quiz content for the player’s club and social channels |
| [Know Your Game](<https://www.playbookrg.com/brand/content/campaigns/#campaign-7-know-your-game>) | A game-guide campaign that features one game at a time |

### Myths that matter most here

[Myth-busting](<https://www.playbookrg.com/brand/content/myths/>) Myths 1 to 10 form the casino-floor set: hot streaks, due machines, lucky machines, near misses, time of day, bet sizing, betting systems, hot dealers, card counting, and picked numbers. These beliefs commonly arise during casino play.

## Segments to know

Segments to know: Segment, On the floor

| Segment | On the floor |
| --- | --- |
| Traditional players | The regulars: slots and table loyalists with fixed routines and firm beliefs about machines |
| General players | Visitors and casual weekend play; low game knowledge, high openness |
| Young adults | New to the floor; first-time table anxiety is the teachable moment |
| Friends and family | The plus-ones; group-night framing makes literacy social |

## Staff readiness

Content fails on a floor where staff can’t back it up. Before launch:

1. Dealers and slot attendants read the [staff FAQ](<https://www.playbookrg.com/brand/content/collateral/>) and the quick refs for their pit or bank.
2. Hosts, cage, and player’s club staff work through the [conversation scripts](<https://www.playbookrg.com/brand/content/collateral/>), including the Tier 2 handoff.
3. Everyone learns and practices the stigma-free language guidance.

## Jurisdiction overlay

Signage mandates, helpline wording, and venue disclosure rules differ by market. Open your [jurisdiction module](<https://www.playbookrg.com/brand/compliance/>) next to this playbook and let it override: mandated text wins, then placement, then style. Modules tagged `land-based` carry the venue-specific detail.

## Measure it

Score the deployment with the [content scorecard](<https://www.playbookrg.com/brand/book/content-scorecard/>): reach (who saw it), engagement (who used it), and belief shift (what changed). Direct observation adds useful context because staff hear player questions and misconceptions before they appear in survey results.

## Start this week

1. Configure [\_brand.yml](<https://www.playbookrg.com/brand/configurator/>) and render the print set for your top games.
2. Put [odds at a glance](<https://www.playbookrg.com/brand/content/games/>) on the display loop.
3. Brief the frontline with the staff FAQ and language list.
4. Run [Slots Myths Week](<https://www.playbookrg.com/brand/content/campaigns/#campaign-1-slots-myths-week>) as the opening campaign.
5. Add table tents pit by pit, and collect what dealers hear back.
