# A small player-education rollout.

A fictional casino is refreshing the slot-game information on its website and venue floor. The same small program connects a player explanation, staff practice, content review, and a record of what still needs checking.

This is an education pilot, not a complete responsible-gambling program, a jurisdiction assessment, or a certification. It includes no real participant data or measured results.

## The question to answer

Help adult visitors find a clear explanation of independent spins and know where to ask for help. Whether the materials achieve that objective must be tested.

All owners below are suggested roles. All records are still to be created for a real rollout. None of the linked teaching examples proves that this plan has been implemented.

1. Playbook Brand

## Give players a clear explanation.

Choose the placements below. Apply the operator’s identity, verified support contacts, age notice, and actual destination links. Retain the source version and the finished files.

**Suggested owner:** Content owner, with the local RG or compliance lead.

### Record to create · not yet collected

R-01: content inventory with source, language, placement, version, owner, review date, and final URL or print proof.

### Before calling this step complete

Confirm that independent-spin wording fits the games described and that every support link and QR code reaches its intended destination.

### A losing streak is not a countdown · myth card

Place the card beside the website’s slot-game information, with a link to the full guide. Keep help and support routes available alongside the educational material.

2. Playbook Academy

## Prepare the people who answer questions.

Start with the free All Employees orientation. Use the two-moment conversation to practice explaining independent spins, then switching to a supportive response when a player asks for help. Add the operator’s own approved handoff procedure.

**Suggested owner:** Training lead and shift manager.

[Open the free employee orientation ↗](<https://academy.gamblingpolicy.com/all-employees/intro>) [See a staff-training lesson →](<https://www.playbookrg.com/academy/#conversation>)

### Record to create · not yet collected

R-02: the relevant roles, orientation and local-practice completion records, handoff coverage, and any preparation gaps. No learner records have been collected for this example.

### Before calling this step complete

Have a manager observe the explanation and handoff practice. Resolve missing preparation or document appropriate coverage before assigning the duties.

3. Playbook Tools

## Keep the review with the content.

Use the worked house-edge example to see how a broad claim becomes a precise explanation. Its first draft predicts a loss every time; the revised copy explains a long-run average. Apply the same review discipline to the actual card and poster before publication.

**Suggested owner:** Content author and the organization’s authorized reviewer.

[See the draft-to-review workflow →](<https://www.playbookrg.com/tools/#tour>) [Read the worked content record →](<https://www.playbookrg.com/tools/sample-review/>)

### Record to create · not yet collected

R-03: the brief, asset versions, findings, author responses, and the named reviewer’s decision for the exact version. EXAMPLE-HE-01 demonstrates the structure; it is not an approval of this pilot’s files.

### Before calling this step complete

Record why each concern is resolved or still open. Keep local requirements, final destinations, and publication authority within the review scope.

4. Playbook Review

## Show what the records actually establish.

Bring the content inventory, preparation records, and content decisions together. Identify unsupported claims and assign the next action. Explore Review’s workflow for adding evidence and assessing it against your framework.

**Suggested owner:** Program owner, with an assessor if one is engaged.

[See the assessment workflow →](<https://www.playbookrg.com/review/#journey>) [See what changes when evidence changes →](<https://www.playbookrg.com/review/#changes>)

### Record to create · not yet collected

R-04: a dated assessment scope, evidence register, findings, action owners, and unresolved gaps. This illustrative rollout has not undergone a completed assessment.

### Before calling this step complete

Keep evidence completeness separate from player outcomes and from external sign-off. An account or a finished checklist does not award a credential.

All checks still to perform

## Make the launch decision explicit.

- Content owner: confirm the source, game scope, language, final layout, local wording, and every destination. Keep the approved version and the placement proof.
- Training lead: confirm relevant staff preparation and support-handoff coverage. Identify any missing records and decide how duties are covered.
- Program owner: name the publication decision-maker, pilot scope, evaluation owner, review date, and procedure for correcting or withdrawing a faulty asset.

[Adapt a resource and assign the launch checklist →](<https://www.playbookrg.com/brand/configurator/?resource=card-13a-its-due&lang=en>)

Proposed evaluation · no results yet

## Test the work, then keep it current.

Before publication

Define the tasks to test: find the game guide, explain whether past losses change an independent spin, and locate support. Record how success and uncertainty will be counted.

During a limited pilot

Invite representative adult visitors and staff through an approved research process. Observe the tasks, collect the necessary consent, and record confusing wording or broken routes. This plan does not claim those sessions have happened.

At the planned review

Report the number of participants, task successes and failures, comprehension responses, and limitations. Compare versions only under a suitable study design; clicks alone do not establish understanding or reduced harm.

When something changes

Revise the affected asset, record the reason, repeat the relevant checks, and update the inventory and decision. Revisit support details, game rules, translations, and staff coverage when they change.

The Brand files are free to use and adapt under CC0. The free Academy orientation has its own license. Hosted Tools and Review require accounts, and an external review is arranged separately. Those services are optional for using this plan.
